A Sustainable Material:

Bamboo releases 35% more oxygen than other plants. Bamboo is also the fastest growing plant on earth. According to studies, bamboo can grow up to 120 cm a day. Therefore, only four years are needed from planting to harvesting. As a result, harvesting does not endanger bamboo forests and is in fact beneficial to its renewal. In addition, bamboo is also a great air purifier; a hectare of Moso bamboo forest absorbs 35-50 tonnes of carbon dioxide yearly!
